The person assuming this role will spend considerable time online interacting with potential business clients and telling them about the company's web services. The work involves web strategy planning, web marketing, new media production, and other online services. It is a great learning experience for someone who is interested in web business to business relations, marketing, and advertising.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate online with potential clients, partners, and suppliers
• Use video conferencing to communicate with clients online
• Explain the company's services to interested parties
• Promote the company's services online

Business Relations Representative

We are looking for a dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills who can work directly and closely with those customers to understand their requirements and meet their needs. The clients come from a wide range of business industries and cultures, and interacting with them is a great learning experience for anyone interested in business. Your work will involve marketing, advertising, business relations, media, project mangagement, and research.

Responsibilities:

• Identifying interested businesses and establish strong working relationships with them
• Communicate with clients in a courteous and friendly manner
• Use video conferencing to communicate with clients online
• Understand and meet clients’ service needs quickly, professionally and accurately
• Liaison between customers and internal staff
• Resolve customer problem in professional and understanding manner

Media Talent Coordinator

Webnox is looking for a talented individual to help in the management of the website ByteCaster.com. The website is a managed community for filmmakers and actors who work on producing business videos for the web (mostly commercials and promotion videos). The position involves interacting with clients who need videos, working with the talent base to get the videos done, and managing the production process.

Responsibilities:

• Visualizing and creating concepts for videos for online use (mostly for online advertisement)
• Effectively communicating ideas to video production teams
• Managing the production of those videos
• Helping promote the videos online
• Distributing the videos to clients

Rich Media Designer and Flash Developer

Webnox Corp. is looking for a creative and artistic individual with very good Flash development experience to help us build rich and new media applications for the web. The work involves graphics design, flash development, and even video editing. We are looking specifically for a talented individual who can create cutting edge graphics, effects, and user interface designs.

Responsibilities:

• Design user interfaces for various websites
• Design and develop Flash controls, especially related to video recording and streaming
• Design and develop Flash interfaces

Qualifications:

• Artistic and creative individual
• Ability to visualize creative and user friendly interfaces
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent experience with graphics software packaged (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator)
• Excellent experience with Macromedia Flash 8 and ActionScript 2.0
• Knowledge of Adobe Premiere and video editing is a definite asset

The position is initially a three-month contract extendable into permanent employment. Work can be done remotely from your own location, or from our offices in downtown Ottawa.
